School Board
Doug Montgomery , President
This will be Doug Montgomery's second year on the RMCA board. Last year, he served as Vice President, and this year he will take over as President of the Board to replace Mark Wrapp, whose term is ending. Doug is an independent insurance agent, and his two children are in fourth and second grade at RMCA. He and his family attend RMCC.
Glenn Albert
An Executive Director with Seagate Corporation, Glenn
Albert has BSEE and MSME degrees from the University of Oklahoma. He
has worked for 25 years in the disk drive industry, the last 10 in management.
Glenn met and married his lovely wife, Joy, in Oklahoma where they lived
for 12 years before moving to Longmont in 1992. Members of RMCC for
nine years, they are blessed with three children, one in college, one
in law school, and one a third grader at RMCA. Glenn is a member and
has been a small group leader at RMCC, and has coached his children
in various youth sports for the past 17 years.
Todd Borger,
RMCC Elder Representative
Todd Borger holds a Master's Degree in Civil Engineering from CU-Boulder, a Bachelor's in Civil Engineering from Washington University at St. Louis, and a Bachelor's in Physics from Central College in Pella, Iowa. After working in the Longmont area for over ten years, Todd has recently started his own civil engineering and land entitlement services consulting company. Todd and his wife Marianne have attended Rocky Mountain Christian Church since 1997. They reside in Frederick with their four young children who are home-schooled. Their fifth child is due in mid-July. This is Todd's first year to serve as an Elder and on the RMCA board.
Bud Sleek, Treasurer
Currently retired and the grandparent of an RMCA
student, Bud Sleek has 20 years’ experience working with boards
at a corporate level, both public and private. He attends Rocky Mountain Christian
Church. Bud is in is his second three-year term on the RMCA board, which he joined in 2001.
Joyce
Campbell
Joyce Campbell holds a Master’s in Psychology and
Counseling from UNC, and has been in private practice as a licensed
professional counselor/ psychotherapist for seven years. She attends
Rocky Mountain Christian Church, where she has taught adult Sunday School
Classes and facilitated and taught leadership skills for Women in the
Word. She and her husband have been involved in Christian education
since their oldest daughter was in preschool, and both of their adult
daughters graduated from Faith Christian in Arvada . Joyce considers
that it would be an honor to be a member of Rocky Mountain Christian
Academy 's school board, and says that it would be a great privilege
to play a part in providing this community with the option of an outstanding
Christian education.
Brett King, Headmaster
Brett King has been head of RMCA since its inception in 1999, and serves as an Associate Pastor of Christian Education at Rocky Mountain Christian Church. He is a native of Boulder and has experience as an elementary teacher in both public and Christain schools.
