Our school day is structured to take advantage of the natural rhythms of a child's day. Disciplinary subjects requiring the greatest concentration are scheduled for the morning when children are usually most refreshed. We also alternate between disciplinary subjects like mathematics, penmanship, and phonics with inspirational subjects like Bible, history, and literature. This helps engage children through the refreshment that variety brings.
Small class sizes enhance this engagement. Students receive personal attention and the atmosphere is focused on a joyful learning. RMCA’s emphasis on relationships within community encourages children to interact daily across classes.

“At the heart of our classroom instruction is the desire for each student to be maturing in his relationships with studies, people, and God. In all disciplines, RMCA students engage with great books, inspiring art, beautiful music, the order and logic of mathematics, and the majesty of creation.”
